"This grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never all dried at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal sunset, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls."
- John Muir

ABOUT ME

Currently, I am nearing completion of my Ph.D. at Cornell University under the supervision of Mike Webster (Webster Lab Website). My training spans the fields of behavioral ecology, evolutionary biology, and wildlife ecology, with an emphasis on avian systems. My current research investigates the behavior, reproductive biology, and social dynamics of the variegated fairy-wren (Malurus lamberti), an Australian songbird. I completed my B.Sc. in Wildlife Ecology at the University of Florida in 2011. Before joining the Department of Neurobiology and Behavior at Cornell (NBB Website), I served as a research technician for several projects including studies of avian life history evolution, physiology and species range constraints, incubation behavior, and responses to climate change.
